Math Testimonials
Dear Dr. Whitcraft, Thank you so much for allowing me to be one of your students. I cannot express my gratitude enough for both your time and teaching. I was able to learn a lot about physics and mathematics from our time together, but also about believing in myself. I came across a quote from William Ward that reminds me of you: “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.” Thank you for being a great teacher and a source of inspiration. Sincerely,
A Finding That Should Interest Struggling Math Students During high school, students are faced with some pretty tough courses and the one which always seems to give students the most difficulty is math. Unfortunately, I am not an exception to this painful reality, and because of this fact, I decided my sophomore year of high school, after a grueling first quarter of Honors Algebra II, that it was time to find a little extra help. I found that help in Dr. Whitcraft. He is a true mathematician who knows how to clearly explain everything from derivatives to parabolas, from Calculus to Algebra, basically this man is a mathematical genius! Thanks to his approach on teaching math, I earned an A in Honors Algebra II (more specifically, my grade went from a 71% C to a 93% A) and a B in AP Calculus. Samantha K.
